When industrial processes involve challenging media like viscous slurry or the high-heat, contaminated streams of Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD), a standard pH probe simply won't survive. This high-performance industrial pH electrode is specifically engineered for these demanding environments, delivering stable and accurate measurement across the full 0 to 14 pH range.
Unmatched Stability in Dirty and Viscous Media (H2)
At the core of this sensor's rugged design is its specialized construction, designed to combat the two biggest enemies of pH measurement: contamination and fouling. The Ag/AgCl reference electrode system incorporates a double salt bridge and KCl gel electrolyte. This advanced configuration acts as a superior barrier, significantly minimizing poisoning from process ions often found in slurry and aggressive chemical baths, ensuring a longer, more reliable operational lifespan with lower maintenance requirements.
The robust electrode body material, a combination of Glass and Porous Tetrafluoro Ring, provides exceptional physical and chemical resistance. This material choice is crucial for resisting abrasion and preventing the common problem of junction clogging when measuring high-solids content like thick, viscous slurries. Furthermore, the low impedance cylindrical glass membrane guarantees a fast response time and maintains a high-quality signal, achieving an excellent SLOPE% of over 95% and a tight Zero potential (E 0 ) of ±0.25 pH.
Extreme Temperature and Pressure Resilience (H2) Process conditions often fluctuate, and this sensor is built to handle the extremes.
Continuous Operation: It is designed for continuous work in medium to low temperature environments from 0 ℃ up to 80 ℃ , with a robust working pressure of up to 6 bar.
High-Temperature Capability: For high-heat processes, the probe operates continuously between 80 ℃ and 100 ℃ for up to 60 minutes, while still handling a working pressure of up to 3 bar.
Customized Ultra-High Heat Tolerance: Crucially for specialized applications, the probe offers a customized tolerance for continuous work up to 100 ℃ and can withstand temporary exposure between 100 ℃ and 135 ℃ for periods under 60 minutes. This intermittent high-temp capability is tested to handle over 40 cycles, providing the operational flexibility needed for steam cleaning or transient thermal spikes.
Seamless Integration and Precision (H2)
Integration into your existing process loop is straightforward. The sensor accommodates a wide range of sample flow rates, from a minimal 0.001 m/s up to 0.5 m/s. For accurate Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), the electrode can be customized with various temperature elements, including PT100, PT1000, or NTC10K.
The standard physical dimensions—a 12mm diameter and 120mm length—allow for interchangeability and ease of installation using the common PG13.5 mounting thread. Connection options include both integrated and split-type leads, ensuring compatibility with diverse analytical transmitters.
