Rs485 ORP Sensor With Split Wire For Industry Sewage Or Drinking Water
RS485 digital ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) sensor DRH790 is a sensor for measuring oxidation-reduction potential in water. Such sensors are usually used in water treatment, environmental monitoring, sewage treatment, swimming pool water quality monitoring and other fields.
RS485 communication protocol: RS485 is a communication standard that allows multiple sensors to communicate through the same bus, with good anti-interference and stability. This makes the RS485 digital ORP sensor suitable for remote data transmission in complex environments.
Digital output: The traditional ORP sensor is usually an analog output, but the RS485 digital ORP sensor output is a digital signal. Digital signals allow for less signal distortion and are easier to interface with other digital devices.
High-precision measurement: RS485 digital ORP sensor can provide high-precision oxidation-reduction potential measurement results, thereby ensuring accurate monitoring of water quality.
Corrosion resistance: These sensors are usually made of corrosion-resistant materials and can operate stably for a long time in different water quality environments.
Advantage:
Real-time monitoring: RS485 digital ORP sensor can provide real-time oxidation-reduction potential measurement value to help quickly understand the oxidation-reduction state of the water body and take necessary measures in time.
Remote monitoring: Through the RS485 communication protocol, these sensors can be connected with a remote monitoring system to realize remote data transmission and monitoring, which facilitates unified management of water bodies in scattered areas.
Low maintenance cost: Because the digital sensor is more stable and reliable, and the automatic calibration function reduces the need for frequent manual calibration, the maintenance cost is relatively low.
The RS485 digital ORP sensor provides a real-time, accurate and stable water oxidation-reduction potential monitoring solution through the characteristics of digital signal output, high-precision measurement and automatic calibration. These advantages make it widely used in the fields of water treatment and environmental monitoring, and become an important part of the automatic control system.

FAQ
1.Does ORP measurement require temperature compensation?
A: ORP measurement is not temperature controlled, so the ORP sensor does not require temperature compensation.
2. How do we choose the ORP electrode when the oxidation level is high?
A: In occasions where the oxidation level is high, that is, the ORP value is high, platinum electrodes are recommended, otherwise gold electrodes are recommended. ORP measurements usually use the above two inert materials as indicator electrodes.
