The pH glass electrode, also known as the pH probe, is the part of the pH analyzer that is in contact with the measured substance. A pH analyzer can measure the pH value of the water quality. The pH electrode ASP300 series developed and produced by Delfino is a composite pH electrode. According to the different temperature units, it can be divided into ASP300N with NTC10K temperature resistance and ASP300T with PT1000 temperature resistance. If no temperature unit is needed, ASP300V can also be used without any temperature unit.

Advantages

 

1. Bulb: The pH electrode adopts a low-impedance hemispherical glass head, which has fast response time, high strength, and is not easy to break.


2. Liquid junction: the large-area annular porous PTFE diaphragm is adopted, which has a fast penetration rate and is not easy to be blocked. The pH electrode is easy to clean.


3. Reference electrode: Use high-quality Ag/AgCl as the reference electrode with a diameter of about 0.5mm.


4. Reference solution: The external reference solution uses KCl solid gel, which has a higher penetration rate and is not easy to lose.


5. Structure: Double connection, protect the external reference electrode, and the pH electrode has a long service life.


6. Shell: ABS and PPS are available in two materials. The ABS material has a firm structure; the PPS material is resistant to high temperature and corrosion.

Application

 

ASP300 series pH electrodes are widely used and can be used in general industrial environments. It is most commonly used in the pretreatment of water in reverse osmosis systems, recovery systems, cooling towers, scrubbers, and factory sewage treatment systems.

 

However, for different environments, the chemical composition, flow rate, temperature, pH range and pollutant level must be considered to determine the most suitable pH electrode.

 

Life and maintenance

 

The life of ASP300 series pH electrode can be up to 2 years. If the electrode can reach its maximum life, correct maintenance is very necessary.


After the PH meter is used, it should be immersed in the PH soaking solution for proper storage, which is very beneficial to improve the slow response of the electrode and prolong the life of the electrode.


After the electrode is taken out of the soaking bottle, it should be shaken in deionized water and shaken dry. Do not wipe the bulb with a paper towel. Use filter paper to absorb it.
