Side Wall Installation PH Sensor With PT1000 /PT100 Temp. Compensation
The pH value is related to temperature, and the pH electrode gives a measurement result determined by the temperature. So the temperature needs to be recorded and temperature compensated.
Our pH sensor ASP300-TYD05 comes with a PT1000/PT100 temperature compensation unit that can compensate for temperature.
pH electrodes need to be calibrated regularly. It is most appropriate to calibrate at least once a day. After calibration, the slope and zero of the electrode can be determined.
To get correct measurement results, it is essential to calibrate the slope and zero of the electrodes. A calibration curve correlates the mV value measured by the electrode to the pH of the solution.
Since each electrode has its characteristic zero point and slope, a minimum two-point calibration is essential for reliable and accurate results. When measuring a wide range of pH values, at least a 3-point calibration is required.
If a temperature probe is not used, make sure to calibrate and measure at the same temperature. Manual temperature entry is required in this case, allowing the meter to correct for the buffer temperature.

◆ pH composite electrode, the body adopts reinforced ABS plastic shell encapsulation, the structure is firm, there are installation threads at the beginning and the end, and the installation is convenient;
◆ The electrode is equipped with a protective cover with its own cleaning interface, and the user can quickly access the automatic cleaning system;
◆ The electrode is divided into 3 basic models according to the packaging method of the temperature unit;
◆ The indicator electrode adopts a low-impedance hemispherical glass head, which has high strength and is not easily broken;
◆ The reference adopts a large-area annular porous Teflon membrane, which has fast penetration speed, fast response, not easy to block, and easy to clean;
◆ The reference system is designed with double salt bridge, the reference electrode is Ag/AgCl, filled with KCL solid gel.
◆ Power supply mode: AC power supply 100～240VAC and DC power supply 18～36VDC.

The pH value potentiometric method uses the potential difference of glass electrodes for pH measurement.
The pH electrode is usually composed of an indicator electrode and a reference electrode.
If the internal hydrogen ion concentration of the pH glass bulb is lower than the outside, the measured solution is recorded as acidic and the pH value is lower than 7; if the two are the same, the solution is neutral and the pH value is equal to 7; if the internal hydrogen ion concentration is higher than externally, the measured solution is alkaline and the pH value is higher than 7.
The lead wire of this electrode is 5m by default, other lengths need to be customized, contact our customer service, the price will vary with the change of length.
5. How often must the pH sensor be calibrated?
A: Depends on the type of sample: Dirty samples and non-aqueous samples require more frequent calibration. Depends on the required accuracy: For very accurate measurements, at least daily calibration is required. Depends on the quality of the electrode: Old electrodes require more frequent calibration.
