Introduction and advantages:
ORP value (oxidation-reduction potential) is an important indicator of water quality, although it can not independently respond to the good or bad water quality, but can be integrated with other water quality indicators to reflect the ecological environment in the aquarium system. The ORP electrode is a composite electrode with a glass housing. It uses a ring-type platinum detection head, has a wide response range.
The reference of the ORP sensor ASR201V-D05-A uses an annular porous Teflon diaphragm. The advantage of porous Teflon diaphragms is the fast permeation rate and quick response, and the material is not easy to clog and easy to clean.
The reference electrode is Ag/AgCl, filled KCL colorless high-temperature gel. The gel electrode has the advantage of low maintenance and suitable for online measurements in demanding applications.
There is a mounting thread of size PG13.5 at the end of the electrode for easier installation.
This ORP probe is equipped with a standard 5-meter low noise lead.

The Redox electrode is a precious metal electrode. It is used for potential measurements and at the same time cannot participate in chemical reaction processes. It means the electrode should be subjected to chemical shocks. Therefore, only precious metals such as platinum, gold, or silver can be used here.
