In water treatment plants, instruments must survive moisture, dust, temperature swings, and power interruptions. The APX1-C2 online pH/ORP controller from Daruifuno is engineered for exactly these conditions, combining a sealed enclosure with robust electrical design.
The controller carries an IP66 protection grade, effectively isolating its electronics from dust and water ingress. It operates reliably from 0 °C to +60 °C at relative humidity up to 95% (non-condensing), and can be stored from −20 °C to +70 °C — a specification well suited to pump rooms, treatment halls, and outdoor cabinets.
The APX1-C2 accepts a wide 100–240 V AC or 18–36 V DC supply drawing 3 W maximum, simplifying deployment across regions and control voltages. Its compact panel-mount design measures just 100×100×120 mm and weighs about 500 g, so it fits neatly into existing instrument panels.
| Feature | Specification |
|---|---|
| Protection grade | IP66 |
| Operating environment | 0–+60 °C, 0–95% RH, non-condensing |
| Power supply | 100–240 V AC or 18–36 V DC, 3 W max. |
| Dimensions | 100 × 100 × 120 mm, panel mounting |
| Weight | About 500 g |
| Configuration memory | Power-failure protection, retained indefinitely |
Power-failure protection retains every parameter indefinitely, eliminating calibration loss after outages. Combined with two 4–20 mA outputs, dual SPST relays, and RS485 Modbus RTU, the APX1-C2 is a complete monitoring and control node for municipal and industrial water treatment.
Panel mounting is straightforward: the fixing clips pass through the back of the instrument and are tightened until secure, holding the controller firmly in a standard cut-out. Terminal blocks for power, electrode, relay, and current outputs are clearly defined, and a dedicated RS485 terminal pair supports Modbus and JSON communication.
Because every configuration parameter is retained indefinitely after a power failure, plants resume normal operation as soon as power returns, without recalibration or manual re-entry. This resilience is especially valuable in remote or unmanned stations.
The APX1-C2 monitors pH from 0 to 14 pH and ORP from −2000 mV to 2000 mV with pH accuracy of ±0.02 pH and ORP accuracy of ±2 mV. NTC10K or PT1000 temperature compensation keeps readings accurate across a wide temperature range, while two active 4–20 mA outputs and two SPST relays connect the controller to pumps, valves, and recorders.
