Suzhou Delfino Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (Daruifuno) has introduced the DPH790 digital pH sensor, a compact, fully digital electrode that outputs temperature-compensated pH values over RS485 Modbus and is built to survive continuous immersion.
Based on the classic glass electrode measuring principle, the DPH790 is designed for reliable, stable performance in online water quality monitoring and industrial process control. Unlike traditional analog probes that need a separate transmitter, it delivers digital data directly to PLCs, controllers and SCADA systems, simplifying wiring and improving accuracy.
The sensor communicates using RS485 with the standard Modbus RTU protocol, acting as a slave on the network. Power and communication are electrically isolated inside the sensor, which reduces electrical noise and improves stability in demanding plants. The pH value is available at register address 2 and temperature at address 4, both as 32-bit floating point values.
| Feature | Specification |
|---|---|
| Protection grade | IP68 |
| Shell material | PPS, φ35 mm × 220 mm, about 200 g |
| Installation | 1″ NPT thread at both ends |
| Working temperature / pressure | 0~50 °C / ≤4 Bar |
| Power supply | 9~24 VDC, about 0.2 W |
| Parameter | Register | Format | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| pH value | 2 | 32-bit float | 0~14 |
| Temperature | 4 | 32-bit float | 0~50 °C |
With a default slave address of 9, the sensor answers standard read commands and can be addressed, calibrated or reset over the bus, making commissioning and replacement straightforward. Power is supplied over a wide 9~24 VDC range drawing only about 0.2 W, so the sensor can share supplies with other field devices.
